I am now so adept at analyzing dreams I can tell law enforcement if a criminal is lying just by talking to them and looking at their dreams. An interesting possibility is making criminals talk to me about their dreams mandated to tell the truth no matter what under my discretion to report them for not being honest (I will eventually see obvious dishonesty or an unwillingness to cooperate because with experience it becomes perfectly obvious). Then have them interrogated in the middle of this process so I can see the stress of the situation begin to appear in their dreams. Not impossible to get the truth or determine the actual mental state out of people (lying, scared, or honest). Drag the process out and it will become too hard to lie or hide honest feelings.
You could also analyze dreams or teach dream analysis in prison. Give people something to do (knowing God is behind them) along with pinpointing criminals current more pressing psychological or emotional issues. You might just scare everyone in prison with not wanting to do anything except get out.
